steve-jobs-embracing-technologyYesterday I talked about how your company or organization needs to embrace technology in order to truly be crisis-ready. 5 ways to make embracing technology part of your corporate culture

  1. Start by making the conscious decision to embrace technology as part of your corporate culture
  2. Encourage staff and team members to discover and experiment with new technology. Then discuss the potential risks and opportunities they present to your company or organization
  3. Don’t re-invent the wheel, look at and be inspired by what others are doing
  4. Subscribe to the right blogs (a-hem, this one is a good start ;) )
  5. Instead of letting fear take over and restrict your use of new technologies, use it to take the right precautions and then sleep easy at night knowing you’re intelligently cutting-edge

Technology is ever-changing and here to stay. It’s up to your company or organization to embrace it, prepare for the risks it presents and ultimately leverage it to your many advantages.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: The choice is yours. Do you choose to be relevant and ready, or dated and at-risk?
